First off we would like to start off by thanking everyone for coming to celebrate our sisters life. We all knew Sherry to be a kind, caring, loving and protective Mother, grandmother, lover, daughter, sister and friend who loved and adored her life long partner Mike her Children Jeremy, Alexis, Gage, and her granddaughter Delilah.

Sherry and Mike had recently been planning to bike across Canada. This was something that Sherry was really looking forward too. Sherry loved the outdoors, camping, spending time with friends and family. Sherry also Loved music. She always carried her boom box with her playing her music where ever she went. She also had a love for animals. She cared for her dogs, birds, lizards and even snakes.
We were lucky enough to have Sherry on this earth for 42 years. It was such a short time but in that time we were able to create some unforgettable memories that we will forever hold close to our hearts. Our Boxing Day tradition of waking up bright and early every Boxing Day to fight the crowds at the mall shopping, going to the movie theatre to watch movies to have to wake Sherry up half way threw them. ( she got that falling asleep so easily from our dad).

Growing up most siblings fight and can’t wait get away from each other but Sherry and Mike always had an open door for us visiting while they lived in Belleville, Woodstock and Ingersoll. Don’t get me wrong we all fought! Just ask my mom and dad about the chair and the duck tape.
Everyone that knows my Dad knows that where he goes so does his camera. We were watching some old home movies the other night, seeing great grandma and grandma with us kids brought us both happiness and sadness. We are happy that she is without a doubt happy with them yet sad that she is no longer here with us. Thanks dad for creating those memories for us to hold on too.

Sherry was always our biggest protector whether it protecting was us from people trying to pick on us as kids or her calling Mom and Dad to tell them Jenny was babysitting after she tucked her in on her couch cause she had to much to drink. Or the time when Tracy was calling Sherry names she chased her pinned her down stood over her fist clenched then released her and said your lucky I love you. Her passing isn’t going to change that she’ll always be our protector our big sister and she’ll always be watching over us.

I don’t know if Sherry ever realized how much love she was surrounded by I would like to think that she is in this room right now and can see how much she is loved and how much she is going to be missed. Our family will forever be missing a piece that made us whole.

You were the first one to give me the proud title of aunt And throughout your short life there were many times Over again that you continue to make me proud. You were a good person inside and out. I just wish I would’ve told you more often. I love you And you will be greatly missed.
You will forever hold a special place in my heart.
“ Loving you changed our lives.
It should come as no surprise that loosing you has done the same,”
