Peacefully with his family by his side at Alexandra Hospital on Sunday, August 3, 2014, William Ernest Whatley of Ingersoll in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (Catling) Whatley (December 2011). Much loved father of Bill Jr. (Marie), Debbie Pembleton (Don), Christine Petrie and John (Kate). Cherished grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Survived by his brother Ken (Marie) Whatley. Lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Rose Whatley, sisters Grace, Dorothy, Jean and brothers Roy “Buster”, Herbert and Robert. Friends will be received at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 10-11am with the funeral service at 11 am.
