He met Elizabeth Vermeltfoort, convinced her to come to Canada and they were married in Bronte (now Oakville) on May 3, 1958. By 1959, they purchased a dairy farm in Beachville where they have lived ever since. Their first child, Maryanne, was born in 1959, followed by Marvin in 1964, Willy in 1966 and Connie in 1968. Bill’s many years of hard work and dedication to family, Church and farming will leave a long-lasting legacy.
