Obituary for Jeltje Cudney
Cudney, Wilhelmina Jeltje (Bos) in her 67th year, after a courageous battle with cancer, passed peacefully at VON Sakura House in Woodstock, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of 48 years to Richard Alan Cudney. Cherished mother of Jeremy (Christa) and Charity (Darryl). Proud grandmother of Travis, Matthew, Elizabeth, and Harley. Loving sister of Wilhelmina (Ken), Corrie, David (Lorie), Ted and Sharon (John). She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Gerrit and Meindertdina Bos.
Jeltje will be warmly remembered for her positivity, strength, laughter, and smile, but mostly her love of family.
Jeltje enjoyed many careers over the years, including accounting, banking and most recently as a sales associate at Roberts and Co Ladies Wear in Ingersoll.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to staff at VON Sakura House, the Oxford Manor Retirement Home (Ingersoll) and the London Regional Cancer Centre for their kindness and support throughout her illness.
Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Thursday April 6, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A celebration of life will occur at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations to VON Sakura House would be appreciated.
