WALKER: W. Meredith – Peacefully surrounded by his family at VON Sakura House, on Sunday, April 21, 2019, W. Meredith Walker of Ingersoll, in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of Eleanor Jean Walker (nee Henderson). Loving father of Scott Walker (Carolyn), Susan McLellan (Ian) and Christine McKim (Brian). Dear grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Cherished brother of Grace Skinner and Barry Walker.
Predeceased by his brother Thorold Walker and his sister Evelyn Katz. The family will receive friends at St. James Anglican Church, 184 Oxford Street, Ingersoll on Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 11 am – 12pm, where the memorial service will take place at 12 pm with Rev. Meghan Nicholls officiating. Inurnment will take place at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. James Anglican Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll, (519-425-1600).
