Obituary for Veronica Mary KEMPSTER

Of Ingersoll, was a Christian and went to be with her Lord Jesus on the 27th of July 2018. She is survived by her beloved husband Brian, 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
Born in Simcoe, ON April 6, 1949. Did post-secondary 1st year BA studies at Brescia College (UWO) and continued at UWO completing 12 credits towards her BA. sponsored by the Ontario Flu-cured Tobacco Board she won in 1964 a contest as the best tobacco grower in the world.
She was part owner of Dura-Loc Roofing of Courtland, ON.  A graduate of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario, she was a telephone counselor for 100 Huntley Street. After her marriage to Brian she became a partner in Linger Long Lodge Christian summer teaching ministry.  A 41-acre camp near Parry Sound / Dunchurch with 10,000 guests attending from 1975-2000.
Her funeral service in Ingersoll was on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll with Reverend Judy Jewell officiating. Her interment was at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alexandra Hospital Foundation.
