Obituary for Vera DASHCHUK (Maciocha)

Vera Dashchuk (Nee: Maciocha)

Peacefully on April 3, 2022 in the town of Ingersoll, Vera went to her eternal reward. Born in January 1936 to Anton and Dora Maciocha of Iron River, AB. Vera was one of six girls and four boys who grew up in Keephills, rural Alberta.
In June 1958 she was married to William (Bill) Dashchuk and together they raised two girls, Deborah, and Kelly. Bill and Vera lived in Mississauga for many years and then move to Ingersoll in 2002, shortly after they retired. Vera was known for her gracious hospitality and always had an extra place at the table. She had a kind heart and a gentle spirit, and she was eager to lend a hand, no matter what the task, wherever it was needed.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William (Bill) and her children Deborah Carroll (Phillip) and Kelly Ager (Hank). Her grandchildren will miss her love and smiles; Christopher (Kara) Carroll, Katelyn (Landon) Mutch, Timothy Carroll, Johnathan, Hannah, Pieter, and Allyson Ager; and her great-grandson Noah.

“Well done, good and faithful servant…. Enter into the joy of your master.” Matthew 25:23

Friends will be received at Hi-Way Pentecostal Church 584118 Beachville Road, Ingersoll, on Friday April 8, 2022 from 10-11am with the funeral service at 11am. Interment to follow at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
