Obituary for Theresa Marie BUSHELL (Kirwin)

BUSHELL (nee Kirwin), Theresa Marie – Peacefully with family by her side at Woodstock Hospital, Woodstock, Ontario on Wednesday June 8th, 2022, Theresa Bushell of Ingersoll, in her 91st year.

Beloved wife of the late Norman Arthur Bushell (2008). Loving mother of Brian Bushell (Mary), Terry Bushell (Mary), Kevin Bushell (Karen). Cherished grandmother of Ryan (Martha), Scott (Nicole), Kimberley (Matt), Andrew (Ashleigh), Jeffrey (Charlene), Jeremy, Amy, Bradley, Lance and Cassey. Theresa also has three great grandsons (Maxwell, Archer, Tristan) and three great granddaughters (Ana, Kate, Claire). Dear sister of James (Maureen) Kirwin. Theresa will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and their families and special mention to her niece Christine for her love and care. Predeceased by her parents Leo and Mae (nee Hensey) Kirwin, as well as her siblings Joseph Kirwin (Margorie), Sister Mary Leo Kirwin, Patrick Kirwin (Kathleen), Paula Stephenson (Dr. Robert), Leo Kirwin (Audrey), Thomas Kirwin (Alice) and Michael (Aline) Kirwin and grandson Luke Bushell (2014).

Theresa was a successful realtor in the Ingersoll area for many years. She was a proud member of Ingersoll Women’s Catholic league, Lions Club of Canada and The School Breakfast Club.

The family would like to thank the nurses of Woodstock Hospital’s M300 & Palliative Care Unit for their caring and compassion. Family would also like thank Dr. Frye and dedicated staff.

Friends and extended family are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, on Sunday June 12th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll on Monday June 13th at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Ingersoll Golf Club, 51 Holcroft St. W, Ingersoll, ON.

Family is encouraging that guests that will be attending are fully vaccinated.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated in Theresa’s memory to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ingersoll, Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll and Woodstock Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
