Passed away January 18, 2016 in her 78th year joining her late husband, John (1934-2012) and her late son, Anthony (Tony) (1963-2004). Survived by daughter Mary-Jane Stead, son Jeffrey Bus, daughter and son-in-law Sandra and Dan Coomber. Grandchildren Maranda, Mariah, Darren and Nathan with great-grandchildren Anthony and Alexis hope that Oma can now be at peace with Opa. Born in Merslo, Netherlands on March 21, 1937. She came to Canada with her family in 1958, Cathy (Marinus) Arts, Bert (Mary) Verhoeven, Diane (Jack) Poels, late Matt (Kathy) Verhoeven, Mary (Peter) Wynen, Harry (Tina) Verhoeven, Martin Verhoeven. Here in 1962, she married her husband of 50 years and started her new life. The family would like to thank the Nephrology Departments and especially the Woodstock Hospital Dialysis Unit for the care and treatment that the nurses gave Mom for the past couple of years. Also we would like to thank the staff of Secord Trails for their wonderful care in Mom’s last year. A big thank you to her family and friends that continued to support her throughout all the years. Friends will be received at the Sacred Heart Church 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 10-10:45 am. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Fr. Gilbert Simard presider. Spring interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
