Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital on Friday, June 6, 2014 in his 61st year after a courageous battle with cancer. Dear son of Annie Ward and much loved brother of Jennifer Wainwright. Predeceased by his father Leslie Ward. Also survived by his nieces Rachel (James), Lexi (Andrew) and nephew Paul. Cherished best friend of Belinda Kruis and her family, Zoe (Raz), Trevor and Emma. Stuart loved the outdoors, had many interests and lived his life to the fullest. Many thanks to Dr. Sondhi and the nurses at Alexandra Hospital, Drs. Ferguson and Logan and the Oncology care team at Victoria Hospital, London and the visiting St. Elizabeth’s nurses for their excellent care. Thanks also to Stuart’s many neighbourhood friends whose help was very much appreciated during Stuart’s more difficult times. As per Stuart’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
