Seng Jeek Ung

Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Monday, January 10, 2022, in his 54th year after his battle with cancer. Loving brother of Nhoc-Fong Vilaysone-Ung. Cherished uncle of Lili Vilaysone and David Vilaysone. Predeceased by his parents Vahine and See Mui Ung.

Great uncle to Ava Lyn Mina. Loved by many friends.

Seng was born in Luang Prabang, Laos in 1968 and immigrated to Canada in 1980 with his father, sister, and brother-in-law. Seng moved to Ingersoll, Ontario in 2010 and was a staple in the Mango Salad kitchen, the family restaurant. He loved creating and sharing delicious meals, riding his motorcycle, and golfing with friends. Seng was known for his kindness, willingness to help others, and his sense of humour. Seng had a kind and giving heart. He would give you his shirt off his back.

A private family service will be held at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
Memorial donations in Seng’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society or donate items to a local homeless shelter would be appreciated.
