Peacefully with her family by her side at home after a courageous battle with ALS, on Monday, August 01, 2016. Ruth Anne Parker of Salford; beloved wife of Tom Parker Q.C. for 53 years. Loving mother of Terry, Kim (Scott), Michael, Kristen (Bill). Cherished grandma of Sarah (Jeremy), Shane, Melissa (Taylor), Lauren (Devan), Marjorie, Mason, Owen, Parker and Brody. Dear sister of Howard (Miriam). Predeceased by her granddaughter Victoria and her sister Patricia. Ruth Anne was dedicated to her family and loved by all who met her. She was a Past Matron of Avalon Chapter, and of Khaki Chapter # 27, Past Grand Officer of the Order of The Eastern Star of Ontario, and Past Officer of OMAR Temple # 111 Daughters of The Nile. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. An open service under the auspices of Khaki Chapter # 27 Woodstock order of The Eastern Star will be held Thursday at 6:30pm, followed by a service under the auspices of The Daughters of The Nile. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11am with interment to follow in Mount Elgin Cemetery. Memorial donations to the ALS Society, Shriners Hospital for Children (Canada), Alexandra Hospital Foundation, or the Charity of your choice (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
