The family of Ruth Ellen Fortner (nee Messenger) announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll, in her 74th year. She was the beloved wife of the late Howard D. (Mort) Fortner. She is survived by her children Clinton (Patsy), Pamela and partner John Beckingham and Peter. Loving grandmother of Ian Thom, Lindsay Van Asseldonk and Randy Fortner. Dear sister of Larry, David and Marlene. A graveside service will be held at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery, Ingersoll on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 3pm with Reverend Meghan Nicholls officiating.
