My deepest condolences to all of the Brown Family. Your mother was a lifelong friend and mentor of mine since the days of Canada Dairies and the Village Cheese Mill. She was one of my go-to sources of local history when she lived in Ingersoll and I stated working at the cheese museum. We will miss her very much. Scott Gillies

Dear Anne and Margaret.
I am sorry to hear about your mother. My mother, Guglielma, always has always spoken very highly of her. Your mother was so kind and helpful to my parents when my father was ill (at the same time your father was).

Our sincerest sympathy to you and your families at this time.

I remember Ruth warmly from my childhood and youth. She was a mentor, teacher and guide when we were in CGIT. I learned a lot from her about a number of things. Her thoughtfulness and wisdom had an impact on me. e.g. she was not keen to sing militaristic hymns, like Onward Christian Soldiers. Her modelling helped to me think about hymns and others things in a new way. She offered much in being herself; she will be missed. To the family, I send my condolences and sorrow for the challenge of grieving apart in this disorienting time. So grateful for Ruth. Reaching out to Anne and Margaret, school chums! Warmly, Anne Pirie

I Being one of her Banner family was a privilege. She was always interested in what was happening in our family and in the world in general. A great lady that will not be forgotten. Our Thoughts and prayers are with your family. Doug and Linda Wardle.
