Obituary for Ruth Ann GILBERT (Haycock)
GILBERT, Ruth Ann (Nee: Haycock): Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital on Monday July 26,2021 at the age of 73.
Beloved wife of the late Allen Gilbert (2012). Loving daughter of Velda and the late Murray Haycock. Ruth Ann is lovingly remembered by daughters Marj (Trysh) of St. Catherines, and Joy (Brad) of Ingersoll. Cherished Grandma of Daniel, Bradley and Sarah. Also, lovingly remembered by Shirley, Stan, Cathy, Rick and their families. Ruth Ann is fondly remembered by Jean (Murray, 2021), Sharon (Barry), Cathy (Roger), Don (Patricia), and Ron (Dianne).
Ruth Ann was born in Ingersoll on April 9, 1948. Ruth Ann went on to get her OSSD. She worked, lived and raised her family in Oxford County. Ruth Ann enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting, canning, gardening, playing cards, bingo, bird watching and spending time with her grandkids.

The family will welcome friends at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, Thursday July 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Those wishing to attend visitation or the service are required to RSVP by going to Ruth’s memorial on the funeral home website to register. Face masks and social distancing required. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday July 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
Interment to follow at Siloam Cemetery, 1560 Fanshawe Park Road, London.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
