Obituary for Ruby Annie ( Morrison) MIREE
With great sadness we announce the passing of Ruby Miree of Ingersoll and formerly of Woodstock in her 88th year.
Devoted wife of 64 years to the late Milt Miree (2016). Mother of Sharon Maynard and her husband Scott of Burlington, Heather Miree of Timmins and predeceased by son Ian. Grandmother of Spencer, Maggie and Madeline Maynard.
Ruby was a longtime resident and volunteer of both Woodstock and Ingersoll being active in St. David’s United Church in Woodstock and Trinity United Church in Ingersoll. Ruby was an active member of the Eastern Star, and a Girl Guide Leader. Ruby and Milt were both recognized as a volunteer citizen of the year for the town of Ingersoll.
Friends will be received at the Trinity United Church 118 Church Street, Ingersoll on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 11-11:45 am with a Celebration of Life Service at 12pm.
Memorial donations, if so desired, should be made in Ruby’s memory to The Canadian Diabetes Association or Trinity United Church.
