Obituary for Bob Hutton
Hutton, Robert George (June 7, 1959- May 24, 2021)
Bob died suddenly at his home on May 24th, 2021. He was the proud father of Scott and Ian Hutton, and stepfather to Brian (Erika), Cody (Megan), and Derek (Carlee) Groat. He is survived by his loving sisters Cherry (Archie) McNaughton and Margaret (Paul) Squire, niece Jennifer, and nephews Nathan and Archie. He will also be remembered by Karen Hutton.
Bob was a son of Scotland who immigrated to Canada in 1982. Almost immediately, Bob became a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and kept wishing for a Stanley Cup victory. Able to build anything, Bob became an indispensable friend and colleague on a number of projects across the province.
Bob will be fondly missed for the stories he could tell and the calm, quiet presence that he offered.
Cremation and a private family service will take place. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in London, Ontario. Donations in Bob’s memory can be made to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto or or the Children’s Health Foundation in London.
