Obituary for Robert William HUTCHINSON
It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Robert (Bob) William Hutchinson on Nov. 12, 2022.
Soul mate since childhood in England and dear Husband of Barbara (Lynn) for 71 years. Father of 5 beloved children; David (Pat), Julie (John), Peter (deceased 1971), Andrew (Michelle) and Jennifer (Jason). Proud Grandpa and PaPa of 8 beautiful Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Alan Lynn (Bernice). He is survived by several nieces and nephews in Canada and England. Predeceased by his parents and 1 sister in England.
Bob was employed as an Industrial Electrician at Stelco Lime Works and was instrumental in the Union from its inception until his retirement. Bob was very civic minded and served his town on the Ingersoll Development Board, the Day Nursery Board, Ingersoll PUC, the Co-op Education Committee, the Police Services Board, and he served on the Ontario Electricians Technical Training Committee. He was also a long serving Church Warden at St. James Anglican Church. Bob played soccer for the Ingersoll Mike's and later for the Ingersoll Flyers. He was also a referee and Coach for Minor Soccer.

Cremation has taken place and a family graveside service to take place at a later date. Donations to St. James Anglican Church, the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada, or a charity of choice. Personal condolences may be sent to www.mcbeathdynes.ca
