Obituary for Riese FRANKLIN

Riese Alexandria Karen Franklin –

Ka Kaake Chiiwan Mide Wabookwe – “Forever Flowing Good Hearted Water Woman” - Fisher River Cree Nation.

March 25th, 2004 - March 16th, 2023

Tragically, as a result of a car accident, our beautiful baby girl was taken from us suddenly, one week before her 19th birthday.

Cherished Daughter of Kirk and Reagan (nee Warnick) Franklin, of Ingersoll, adored Twin Sister to Seamus Franklin, beloved Granddaughter to Nancy (nee Jeffrey) and the late Mark Warnick (Grammy and Papa); Wayne and the late Karen Franklin (nee Willox): all of Ingersoll; Sharon Chartrand (Amma) of Selkirk, Manitoba; Lorne Sigvaldason, of Stonewall, Manitoba. She will be missed by innumerable aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

Riese was a bright light, who was immensely loved by all who were blessed to have known her, and she will be especially missed by Seamus, the other half of her heart, her Twin Brother. Her smile could brighten the darkest day and illuminate any room. All of our hearts are broken, and our lives won’t be the same without our Riesey Roo in it.

We love you so much Riese, we can find some peace in knowing that Papa Warnick and Grandma Franklin are taking great care of you over there.

Visitation will take place at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. South, Ingersoll On., on Saturday March 25th, from 11am - 1pm and 4pm - 7pm. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be announced.

In lieu of flowers and in light of Riese’s love of all animals, donations may be made to the Oxford County Animal Rescue.

“Don’t think of her as gone away, her journey’s just begun.
Life holds so many facets, this earth is only one...
Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched.
For nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.”
