Obituary for Ozzie Dona
DONA, Oswald Mario (Ozzie)
It is with sadness the family of Oswald (Ozzie) Dona announce his passing at Maple Manor Long Term Care, Tillsonburg on Tuesday June 2, 2020 in his 84th year.
Predeceased by his parents Angelo and Luigia Dona and his sister Rina Dannibale.
Ozzie is survived by his wife of 56 years Carol Anne (Moffat) Dona, son Paul Dona, daughters Julie Dona, and Amy Dona Laughlin (Kirk). Also survived by his dear granddaughters Amelia Dona, and Brooke Laughlin. Fondly remembered by his brother Ferruccio Dona (Clara), sisters Corrina Agnelli (Alfred), Rosemary Bot (late Luigi), Franca Bot (late John), Grace Coles (Robert), Luisa Birtch (Wally).
Ozzie immigrated to Canada with his parents and siblings in 1952 from Treviso, Italy, arriving in Montreal, Quebec and eventually settling in Ingersoll.
Ozzie will be missed but fondly remembered by his many acquired workmates over his years of employment with companies located in Beachville (quarry), Ingersoll (Shantz turkey plant), and retiring from the former Standard Tube (Woodstock).
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be announced later when the Covid-19 Virus is dismissed. (hopefully).
