Obituary for Olga Nancy DORLAND (Bonk)
DORLAND, OLGA NANCY
Olga Nancy Dorland passed away on Monday September 26th at the age of 82.
Olga was born in 1939 in Northern Alberta. She was a Ukrainian Heritage Canadian farm girl in her youth, who raised a family, built a family business, and gave back to her community in service throughout her life.
She is fondly remembered by her family for her selfless dedication to her children and grandchildren and her local church. Her close family includes her sons Mark and Wade (Shelley), her grandchildren Taylor (Lindsay), Brandon (Amber), Lexy (Dan), and Zachery. Her great grandchildren, Henley, Lennon, Beau, Marlowe, Isla, and Jade.
Olga bravely fought and won against cancer twice in her life before finally losing the battle on third round. During her life Olga was an artist, businesswoman, boy scout leader, baseball coach, Sunday school teacher and a neighbour, always willing to stop for a cup coffee.
She is predeceased by her loving husband Ralph, parents Mary and Michal Bonk, siblings Netty, Sophie and Neil. She is dearly missed and loved by her family and friends.
