Obituary for Mary Todd
TODD: Maria (Mary) A. (nee Droog)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Todd in her 74th year.
She was married to the love of her life, Frank for more than 52 years. Cherished by her children Tracey (Marc), Shawn (Lisa), Rob (Joan) and their families. Adored by her grandchildren and treasured by her many nieces, nephews, and god-children. Beloved sister/sister-in-law/daughter-in-law of both the Droog and Todd families. Predeceased by her parents, brother, two sisters, father-in-law, nephew, and grandson.
Mary passed away peacefully at Alexandra Hospital in Ingersoll on September 29, 2020 surrounded by family.
Mary was loved immensely by her husband Frank who lovingly took care of her as her memories faded.
She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends who knew and loved her.
A private family service has taken place. A celebration of her life will be held later.
Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends - especially her grandchildren. She was loving, kind, full of compassion for others and always ready with a helping hand. She loved sewing and doing crafts with her sister Cora. She created many wonderful memories baking, sewing, sharing time and laughter with Tyler, Ashley, and Dylan.
Thank-you to the staff at Secord Trails for their care over the last nine months. Special thank-you to staff at Alexandra Hospital for helping Mary and her family through her final days.
