At age 97 in Ingersoll on July 21, 2016, Margaret Walker, beloved wife of the late Wilbert (Wib) Walker (DVM) is survived by daughter Lois (John Walker) of Calgary and Jim (Judy Bartram) of Ingersoll. Margaret always put her family first and enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters Amy (Jordan Coldham) of Calgary and Ashley (Pier Martin) of Ottawa. She was delighted when her first great grandchild, Alex Coldham, arrived more than two years ago. Margaret Elizabeth Jane Savage was born in Richmond Hill on June 9, 1919 and moved to Ingersoll in 1948 where she was a great support in Wib’s veterinary practice. She was active in both the United and Presbyterian churches and was a staunch supporter of the IODE. She will be remembered always for her smile, her gentle ways and her unspoiled love of small pleasures. Heartfelt thanks to all the positive people who helped make her final years enjoyable – most recently the staff of Secord Trails. Margaret’s goodness will live on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her. Friends will be received at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 56 Thames St. S., Ingersoll on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 1 – 2pm with funeral service at 2pm.
