Obituary for Margaret Anne ROBINSON
Margaret Robinson (nee MacMillan)
Margaret, in her 90th year passed away in Woodstock, Ontario on Friday, September 17, 2021 with her family by her side.
Born in Ingersoll, the eldest daughter in a family of 14, Margaret was a caregiver and mother figure from an early age. She spent 66 years with her adoring husband Howard, returning to the workforce after his heart attack in 1982, then retiring and spending her days with him up to his death on 2016, in the house where they raised their four children: Debra (Chris), Julie (Steve), Mark (Dina) and Paul (Zena).
Margaret enjoyed playing canasta and spending an afternoon by the pool or on the veranda with a romance novel. She baked incredible pies and was a formidable gossip. Above all, she was so thankful for her large and loving family, who are just as appreciative for the many years they were able to spend with her.
Grandmother to Cory, Kylee (Todd), Kate, Lauren, Kyle, Nathan (Jessara), Keeley (Dan), Rachel (Nathan), Derek (Alysha), Kayla (Cliff), Matt and Kody; and great grandmother “GG” to Lily, Maisie, Lincoln, London, Jayden, Sterling, Willow, Colton, Vivienne, Dallas and Layla; she will be loved forever and missed dearly.
As per Margaret’s wishes, the family will be holding a private interment in lieu of a funeral. Memorial donations through the funeral home to a charity of your choice in Margaret’s name are appreciated. Personal condolences may be posted at www.mcbeathdynes.ca
