ROBERTS, Lorna Ann (nee Thompson)
Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph on Sunday May 7, 2023 in her 84th year.
Beloved wife of the late George Roberts (November 2017). Loving mother to Dean (Mary Mitchell), Faye (Peter Atkins), and Owen. Cherished grandma of Evan, Graham, Stephen, Claire, Neil, Noah, and Calla. Also survived by nieces Karen Dalgleish, Elizabeth Barrowman (Grant), and great nephews Alex, Louis, and great nieces Sophia, and Maddie. Predeceased by her daughter Crystle.
Lorna was a graduate of the University of Guelph (1962), a teacher at IDCI, entrepreneur, horticulturalist. Special thank you to the staff on the memory floor at Arbour Trails in Guelph, and the staff in the palliative care ward at St. Joseph’s Health Care Centre, Guelph.
Family and friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Friday 3-5 pm with the memorial service on Saturday May 13, 2023 at 11:30 am in the chapel with interment to follow at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
