Linda Dianne Clifford (Moore)
1946 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Linda Clifford announces her passing on December 18, 2021.
Linda passed away peacefully surrounded with the love of her family and friends. Survived by her husband Wayne, daughter Sherri (Kevin), son Darren (Christa). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Emily and Gracie. Cherished by Keela (Mitch), Brody, Nethaniel and Madison.
She will be sadly missed by brother-in-law Bill Gamsby and niece Melanie, predeceased by her sister Joanne and nephew Ryan. She will also be missed by sister-in-law Karen (Don Duncan), Brian Clifford, predeceased by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Rick and Alice Clifford. Remembered fondly by her nieces and nephews, Laurie, Kirk, Lisa, Derek, Annette and Troy and their children.
Linda was raised in Ingersoll and for many years worked at the Sears on Thames Street. She moved to London where she worked for Western Ontario Distributors. She later lived in Grand Bend and then to Bracebridge Ontario.
Linda always held family and friends close to her heart and made sure to keep in touch with those she cared about no matter the distance. She especially enjoyed doing crafts and baking with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed scrapbooking and working on family ancestry.
A special thank you to Hutton House for their support to Sherri as she cared for her mother at home. We would also like to express our thanks to the doctors and nurses from Bracebridge and Orillia Hospitals, Parkwood Institute and London Health Sciences Centre, London Home Palliative Team, PSWs and Home Health nurses for all your support through this journey.
