Obituary for Lillie May (Beemer BEAL GRAHAM)

Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital on Thursday, November 5, 2015, Lillie May Graham Beal passed away in her 105th year. Dear wife of the late Francis Leon Graham (1986) and Harry Ransom Beal (1999). Loving mother of Marilyn Smith, Marlene (Gail) MacKay, Lynn (Don) Harvey, Ken Graham, Lana Graham and Bill Graham (Bob Evancho). Loving stepmother to Linda Vank, David (Barbara) Beal and Cathy (Bill) Thorpe. Cherished Grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. Great Grandmother of 18 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren and counting….Predeceased by her parents Cecil and Lillie Beemer (nee) Milmine; brothers Lylus, Kenneth and Emerson; sisters Inez, Emily, Helen, Ruth, Margaret and Merle. Lillie is survived by sisters-in-law Ruth Graham and Nancy Graham. Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Lillie was a lifetime member of Community of Christ-Corinth Congregation and an honorary member of the Ingersoll Seniors Centre. Lillie was also active in the Seniors for Health and Golden Age Group. She worked in the kitchen at Alexandra Hospital for 15 years where she retired at 65. Lillie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, travelling, word search puzzles, Jeopardy, reciting poetry and singing songs. The family would like to thank the staff of Red Cross/Care Partners for Mum’s home care (since 2008) as well as the 3rd floor nursing staff while in Alexandra Hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Mayberry, Dr. Hanoman and Brian Taylor. Visitors will be received at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames St. S., Ingersoll on Sunday, November 8 from 2–4 and 7– 9pm where funeral service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 1pm. Interment to follow in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ziontario, Ingersoll Seniors Centre or the charity of your choice.
