Obituary for Karl LONGFIELD

Longfield, Karl

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karl Longfield.

Born and raised in Ingersoll Ontario in his 85th year Karl will be missed by Daughter Karlene Williams (Glen), Life Partner Betty Jean Thornton, Brother Wayne Longfield (Bonita), Daughter Laura Jantunen (Angel), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Karl was a longtime Hillcrest Ingersoll Legion member and contributor with interests for darts, billiards, and a great game of cards. He also loved his sports from playing high school basketball, to broomball and baseball with the Ingersoll Sabers for many seasons, from setting pins as a young boy for Ingersoll Lanes to later the enjoyment of playing for bowling leagues through the years. With all his love for the sports he played to the Toronto teams he liked to watch. Go Jays Go! An avid hunter and fisherman with many stories to share and great laughs to be had.

He was a very hardworking, caring, selfless man that would help anyone in need he will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Thank-you Dad for being such a loving, knowledgeable, strong man. XOX
Memorial donations in Karl's memory to Sakura House House would be greatly appreciated.
