Sorry to hear about Karen’s passing. We were 4H leaders years ago. Her mom taught at Foldens school .... years ago. Her dad was in the hospital with my dad.... years ago. I would run into Karen from time to time and always had a lovely visit. Fond memories of Karen will warm your heart. Janis (Kirby) McCutchen

....I have lost a dear friend to a long and courageous battle with liver disease. Karen Phillips-Tait was the big sister I never had. She taught me to sew when I was a tweenager. She drove with me to Florida when a special friend of mine was in a car accident and broke his neck landing him in hospital for weeks. She asked me to help her with her rural mail route @ RR#4 Ingersoll when we chatted each other's ears off and treated ourselves to a coke and crispy crunch bar at the end of our route. She honoured me by being one of my bridesmaids 35 years ago. While life got busy in our later years we always managed to pick up right where we left off when we did connect. She was that kind of a sincere and loyal friend. Karen you were courageous in your fight for life. Your love for Jesus was never waning. I love you dear sister. I will miss your beautiful caring soul. I look forward to a grand reunion someday. Lyal my prayers are with you during this time of sadness. May your wonderful memories of Karen and her beautiful garden serve to console you during this time. God bless you 💗
