Obituary for Joe Zegers
Zegers, Joseph “Joe” May 12, 1930 – December 25, 2020.
Surrounded by his family at VON Sakura House, Joe peacefully journeyed to reunite with his wife Dora (2014) and his other family members who departed before him.
Beloved father and grandfather of Jim and Mary-Ellen (Krista, Kevin, and Katie); Cyndi (late Dave) Howard (Casey, Joey, and Shawn); Linda and Dan DeWit (Nathan, Adam, and Shauna); Jackie and Troy French (Kendra); Ken and Becky (Luke, Olivia, and Sophie). Very proud great-grandfather to 22 lucky children. Joe is survived by his brother Jim (Joanne) of Stratford; his sister Nellie, and his brother Kees, both of Holland.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll. Joe’s immediate family will lay him to rest at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ingersoll.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to VON Sakura House.
