Obituary for Joseph Frank LONGLADE

Frank passed away peacefully at Alexandra Hospital on April 7th in his 87th year.
He is survived by his loving wife Norma (nee McGinnis married for 62 years); his children, Denise Brown (Gary), Steve (Elizabeth), Neil (Heather) and Mark.  Also survived by his grandchildren, Jason and Tyler Brown, Matt Longlade (Brittney), Rachelle Masson (Cody), Ben Longlade (Alexis), Courtney, Dawson, and Hannah Longlade; and great-grandchildren, Stevie, Tristan, Chloe, and Lily.  He will also be remembered by long-time friend Agnes, brother-in-law Louie, sister-in-law Maureen along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Frank will be remembered for his love of life, the outdoors, camping, fishing, and many sports.  He was an avid hockey player in his younger years, enjoyed horseshoes, bowling, shooting a game of pool and loved to beat all of us at any game of cards.
He spent five years in the Navy and retired from Ford Talbotville. He was a member of the Ingersoll Canadian Legion and Knights of Columbus.
Visitation will be held at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South. Ingersoll, Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Thursday April 11, 2019 at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church, 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll, Fr. Gilbert Simard presider.
