Peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital, London on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Dad has gone now to be reunited with his first wife Annie and his son Jeffrey. He will be greatly missed by his children Joe Finley (Mary Jean), Sherry Cornett (Scott), Julie Scott (James), Melissa House (Don), grandchildren John, Jennifer (Chris), William, Annie, Aurora, Sophia, Jasper James, great granddaughter Halina and his many nieces and nephews. Partner of June Boyes, brother of Don Finley (Eileen) and predeceased by his sister Elizabeth and brother Lloyd. Dad / Grandpa loved to sing and play his guitar; he loved to putter and fix or improve things; he loved road trips with family, and was always the first to offer help. He will be forever remembered for his big smile and kind heart. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 11am at First Baptist Church 235 Thames Street South, Ingersoll with interment following at the Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
