Obituary for Joel SCHAT
Schat, Joel Henry – Into the loving arms of Jesus, Joel went to be with his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
Born on June 27, 1961 in Belhaven, North Carolina, USA, to Jelle and Hilda Schat. Joel Henry Schat led an honest, loving and humble life. A lifelong truck driver and farmer, Joel enjoyed meeting people and was always interested in shooting the breeze. Joel leaves behind his beloved wife, Marina (nee de Dreu), children Joshua and Janine. He will be missed by many family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11 between 2 – 4 pm at Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church, 429 King St W, Ingersoll, ON. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, April 12, at 11:00 am at Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sakura House, Woodstock or LHSC – Cancer Clinic. Personal condolences may be sent at www.mcbeathdynes.ca
