Originally from Holland, JoAnne was a creative person and life-long maker: she loved sewing, crocheting, knitting and making quilts. Tony and Jo were partners on the farm outside of Ingersoll, ON, working side by side in the barn and in the fields. In retirement, they built a house on the Mill Pond in Dorchester. Her mischievousness, sense of humour, and generosity will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank all our relatives and friends, as well as the staff of University Hospital for all their care and support in her last days. Friends will be received at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm with prayers at 3:45 pm. Mass of The Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 131 Thames Street N, Ingersoll, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11am with Fr. Gilbert Simard presider. Interment will be at Dorchester Union Cemetery, 2251 Dorchester Road at 3pm. Donations in Jo’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
