DREYER, Jo-Anne (Fortune) (1946-2021)
It is with great sadness that the family announce Jo-Anne’s passing, peacefully on February 23rd at Terrace Lodge, Aylmer.
Predeceased by her parents Donovan and Zola Fortune, brother Ronald and sister Ruth-Anne.
Josie will be forever remembered by her devoted husband of 56 years, Don, her loving sons, Tad (Peggy), Jamie (Shelly); grandchildren Alex (Caitlin), Erica (Josh) and great granddaughter Madeline. She will also be dearly missed by her sisters Diane and Cheryl (Jamie); brother Donald (Janet); Sister in law Pat DeBuck; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Josie enjoyed the simple things in life like the sun on her face, long walks, ice cream, coffee with friends and spending time with her family. Nothing, however gave her more joy than a baby in her arms.
She retired from a career of more than thirty years at AXA Insurance
The family wishes to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Terrace Lodge for the many years of dedicated care and compassion.
A private family service will be held March 3rd at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, Ingersoll. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
