Obituary for Jeannine Marie QUINN (Quinn)

Jeannine Marie Quinn
1963-2023

Peacefully, in Oakville ON on Monday March 13, 2023, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Jeannine passed away with her loving sister Joanne by her side. She is predeceased by her parents Gordon (1979) and Ruby (2016). Proud big sister to Joanne (John), loving “Neanie” to Lauren (Ian), Lindsay (Evan) and Danielle, and special great-aunt to Hannah, Brynn, and Brody.

Jeannine will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends for her contagious energy, zest for life, and her passion for ballroom dancing. She loved to travel and shared many fond memories of time spent with her dance family from Nashville, with special mention to her dance partner Ian. In recent years, Jeannine took great joy in becoming involved in her community in Bronte, enjoying Latin nights at Taste of Columbia, and supporting other cancer patients through her volunteer role at Wellspring Oakville.

Jeannine loved to get up early and take walks to watch the sun come up over the lake. She hopes that her friends and family will be reminded of her each time they see a beautiful sunrise.

In honour of Jeannine, we will raise our glasses and dance to celebrate a life well lived. Until we meet again.

Friends and family will be received at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, on Thursday March 16. Visitation at 12pm, service at 1pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Elm Hurst Inn.

In lieu of flowers please consider donation to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
