Obituary for Jan Harm  KLINGENBERG (Jack)

After a lengthy illness, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2016 at home in his 82nd year. Jack leaves behind his wife Aaltje (Alice) of 59 years. Will be missed by his 6 children and their spouses: Garry & Ruth, Liz & Fred (DeVries), Herman & Clara, Chris & Annette, Bill & Joane, Cathy & Mark (Hiemstra), and by 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. We are all grateful for the faith that shaped his life and now gives the family comfort in knowing he is at eternal rest.
Jack was part of a large extended family: Berend† & Aaltje†, Mans & Roelie†, Gezinus† & Anne†, Wim† & Grietje, Be† & Rika (John), John† & Dicky† (Ruth), Jan & Fenny, Gerrit & Trientje, Al & Christina†, Clarence & Jane, Harry & Andrea, and his parents, Gerrit† and Christina†.
Born in Sleen, The Netherlands, Jack immigrated to Canada in 1953, married and settled in the Woodstock area. In 1965 the family moved to Thamesford where he enjoyed over 30 years of rewarding employment with Cold Springs Farm.
Family and friends will be received for visitation on Thursday March 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. at Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church, 429 King St W Ingersoll. A Celebration of life service will be held on Friday March 18, 2016 at Ingersoll Christian Reformed Church at 2:00 P.M. Donations gratefully accepted for World Renew (formerly known as: Christian Reformed World Relief Committee), in lieu of flowers.
