Obituary for Jack Cheeseman FLETCHER

Fletcher Jack Cheeseman

Passed peacefully in his sleep at Woodstock Hospital.

Jack was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 23,1926.

Jack grew up in ElRose Saskatchewan with his parents, Robert and Maud Fletcher and his younger brother Bob.

They moved to Ontario and that is where Jack met his wife Edith Bianchi who he was married to for 60 yrs.
Jack was the loving and patient father to Joy (Michel) Villeneuve, Janice (Ron)Koekebakker and Jonathan Fletcher. He was the best Grandpa to Jeremy and Justin Koekebakker and Melanie (David Hebert) Villeneuve, Koryn (Dan)Dufour. Great Grandpa to Chloe and Kobe Koekebakker, Lucas Koekebakker, Alex (Cassandra) and Antony Hebert, as well as Maddox and Cooper Dufour.
He was brother-in-law to Mary Gatto, Joy Bianchi, Grayce(Joe)Monnet and Sylvia Bianchi.
He was predeceased by his beautiful wife Edith, parents, brother Bob, brothers and sisters-in-law; Gord and Hilda McNally, Leno Gatto, Walter Bianchi, Don and Elsie Foreman and his faithful furry friend “Bella”.

Jack enjoyed a career at Timberjack(EatonYale) in Woodstock while also enjoying his hobby farm, where he was known for caring for a menagerie of animals Edith brought home.

Jacks recent words were that he was very content, he was thankful for his years of good health and felt most fortunate to be well cared for and loved by his family. When asked by his nurse if he needed anything- he replied- “no, I think I have everything I need and if I need something, I can call Ron”.

Jack is being cremated at his wish and a zoom celebration of life will be arranged.
