Obituary for Inez Fishwick

FISHWICK, Inez Genevieve – Break out your bright, light colours and your floral prints as we join in the Celebration of the Life of our dear Loving Friend, Aunt, Mother and Grandmother. Inez Fishwick has gone to her peaceful place. She quietly slipped away at Parklane Terrace in Paris on November 11, 2022 in her 95th year; Mom had her hair done especially for this occasion. Please leave your black clothes in your closet at home.

Born at the farm in Gosfield Township, Essex County on July 5, 1928, the third child of Edward and May Barnett. Inez is now happily reunited with her husband Neil Fishwick (2009). Loving Mother of Keith (Shauna) Fishwick of Princeton, and Kathryn Gibb (Andrew) of Nepean. Cherished Grandmother to Amber, Cara, Mitchell, Stuart, Veronica, and Penelope. Survived by many caring nieces, nephews, a brother-in-law, cousins, extended family, friends and random friends. Predeceased by her sister Bertha Peterson (1965) and her brother Ivan Barnett (1991).

Inez was a teacher and a faithful, dedicated member to St. James’ Anglican Church for over 50 years. She was participating member of many local, regional and international organizations. Mom and Dad travelled across the continent and around the world making their own special memories and many friends along the way.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Hanley, Dr. Tamale, the nurses, PSW’s and staff at Parklane Terrance, for the care and compassion they showed to Inez and the family.

Visitation will be held at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 between 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11:00 am with the Rev. Sue McCullough officiating.
