Obituary for Ila Mae DEMPSEY
DEMPSEY: Ila Mae (nee West) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the death or our dear Mom, Mae Dempsey, formerly of Ingersoll in her 99th year.
She was married to the love of her life, soulmate and husband Bill for 58 and a half years before his passing in March 1999. Mae passed away peacefully, surrounded by all of her children and spouses at the home of her beloved son Brian and his dear wife Grace who have cared compassionately for her since January 2018. She was also a much loved mother of Brenda Wilson (Blayne) of Ingersoll and Don Dempsey (Vicki) of Sundridge, ON.
Mom adored her grandchildren Kelly Wilson, (the late Bradley Wilson), Scott Dempsey (Laura), Eric Dempsey and her great grandchildren Sierra, Makenna, Gavin and Morgan. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends as well as those who knew and loved her.
A private family service has taken place.
Mom is now reunited with her own dear mother, Minnie West and the rest of her family who have gone on before her.
A special thank you to all the PSWs that became like family. Also thank you to the Home Care team that helped Mom in her final days♥️
