Peacefully with his son by his side at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (DeWildt) Vermeeren (2015). Loving father of Diane, Tom (Maria), and the late Theresa Vermeeren (1991). Cherished Grandpa of Jennifer, Michelle (Justin), Kerry, Jake, Gemma, and great grandpa of 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Cathy, Jean, Lucy, and Corry. Predeceased by his brothers Gerry, Peter, and sisters Bertha, and Leny.
Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 10:30 am Fr. Gilbert Simard presider. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
