Passed away peacefully at Alexandra Hospital in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Betty Marriott for 73 years. Loving father to Norma (Rick) Staples, and Donna (Jack) Franklin. Cherished grandpa to Kathy (Keith) Kennedy, Tracy (Paul) Lewis, John Vlug and step-grandpa to Rick Staples Jr, Jeff Staples (Angie), and Becky Staples. Grandpa to Maygan (Don) MacKenzie, and step-grandpa to Jeff Franklin, Greg (Michelle) Franklin. Fondly remembered by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 sisters, a foster sister and 2 brothers.

Cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later time.
