Obituary

HART, Helen Norene (nee McArthur)

Peacefully and gracefully at Sakura House our mom passed on from this earth to take her place in Heaven.

Beloved wife of the late James Longworth Hart (1994). Dear mother to Doug, Eric (Kim), Doris, Elise (Brad). Loving grandmother to Tyler, Nicholas and Lauren Hart, Liam, and Duncan Hart, Sam and Ben Phillips, Natasha, and Erica Clayton. Dear sister of Frances Fallis, Bruce McArthur (Lil), and Harold Silver (Peggy).

Mom was a devoted member of the Knox Presbyterian Church in Embro, an Elder of the Church, member of Women’s Missionary Society. She volunteered at Sakura House and Woodstock Hospital giving comfort to those in need. Mom took great joy in her garden, singing, volunteering in the community and always helping others.

Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church Embro at a later date.

Memorial donations in Helen’s memory to VON Sakura House, or the Women’s Missionary Society Presbyterian Church (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.

Personal condolences may be sent at www.mcbeathdynes.ca

I only just received the news of Helen's passing. Helen was one of the most loving, caring person I've ever known. I am lucky to have known her and will miss her dearly. She gave so much of herself to help others never asking for anything in return. I am deeply saddened by her passing and will miss her.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Helen over this past year while my own father was ill and in decline at Woodstock General Hospital. She was a regular visitor for my dad and quickly became a good friend. She was an absolute inspiration for us in the short time we knew her. The moment I met her I loved her. She was kind, uplifting, generous, soulful and an absolute joy to be around. She lit up any room she entered. She made a huge difference in the quality of my dad's life in his final months. Despite only having the pleasure of seeing her in person on a handful of occasions, I too felt I had a new friend.

She was a blessing and will be missed,

Sincerely,
Mitch Fairrais

Our dear love to all of you, Helen's dear family, her most prized possessions. She has always been a dear friend to our family, and of course to so many others. She was a friend, a confidant and support to so many. Always there to lean on, always there to cheer you onward. She will be missed always, however, she touched our souls, there she will remain always.
Eric, Doris, Doug and Elise, much love to each of you from our family. Annie, Dave, David & Joanna Parker

My dear, sweet Helen. You were a fantastic volunteer, giving to others even when you should have been taking care of yourself. You had a kind heart and it even showed in your signature
