Beloved brother of Paul (Celine), Sandra (Dr. Leo Vos) and John (Susan). Much loved uncle to Julianna (Dustin) Weidman, Laura (Joseph), Jonathon (Diana), Mathew Vukson Aaron Vos Jennifer (James)Rogers and Cory Vos (Maddy Pease), Caroline (Steve) Funston, Elizabeth (Scott McIntosh), Timothy and Emma Vukson. Special friend to Lillian Huang and her family. Greg will be greatly missed by his aunts and uncles and many friends and colleagues from around the world, especially Jean, Lucy, Marvin, Steve, Mike, John and Peggy, Vlad, Lee, Dr Shou, Jane, Sally, Brian, and Theresa.

Greg was born in Toronto, attended the University of Guelph and worked in the food industry for over 40 years that included Ingersoll Cheese Co., Borden’s, Kellogg’s, Dare Cookies, and Iovate. He later moved into consulting with a variety of initiatives in the food, wellness, and scientific industries.

His family was the most important thing to him in life. He wanted the best for everybody and would help at the drop of a hat. Greg would always show up for dinner, but we were so glad he came as he entertained us immensely with stories of life. When a kind word was needed, a shoulder to cry on, or just some sensible life advice, you could count on Greg. He was a great movie goer and would drag his kids, nieces, nephews, and siblings along, no matter what city they lived in. His great strength was providing emotional support for those who experienced life hardships, worries and sadness. He was always there when we needed him. Greg was a far greater part of our lives than we ever realized. He will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Tuesday 11am -1:45 pm. (Following provincial regulations, a maximum number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time, please be patient. Also, social distancing and facial coverings are required in the funeral home). A private family service will be held with interment to follow at Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
