Obituary for Frans DeJong (Frank)
Born in Sexbierum, FR. The Netherlands February 27, 1929 and raised in Hitzum, FR. Died peacefully in his sleep on January 6, 2018.
He will be missed by his beloved wife of 58 years, his children, Grandpa, Pake, sisters, in-laws, and cousins. Elisabeth DeJong-Heida, Femmy and Jamie Esler of Dorchester, Hessel of Ingersoll, John of Tillsonburg, Jacob and Kimberly of Otterville, Brenda of Ingersoll; grandchildren Tyler, Ryan, Nathan, Curtis and Seth; sisters Johanna and Homme, Rinske and the late Gerben, Anneke and the late Herre, Yp and Dick all of Holland and Peter and Evelyn of Barrie, Marten and the late Aukje, Jan and Anneke, Ruurd and Johanna, the late Auke and Florence, Petra and Egbert all of Holland.
Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Tuesday from 2-4 pm and on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 12-12:45pm with the funeral service at 1pm. Interment later in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
