Peacefully at Alexandra Hospital on Thursday, July 16, 2015 in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Mavis (Marlatt) for 67 years. Loving father of the late Paula and Neil and also survived by grandchildren. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his 2 brothers Clifford and Edward. Ernie was a member of Trinity United Church and a member of Kiwanis International. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at 1:30 pm with Rev. Bill Mayoros of Trinity United Church officiating with interment to follow in Harris Street cemetery. Memorial donations to Trinity United Church Building Fund (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
