Peacefully with his wife by his side on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of 67 years to Margaret (MacMillan) Marr. Loving father of Karen Garton (Ken), Robert (Karen) and James (Karen). Cherished grandpa of Paul, Robert, William and great grandsons Hunter and Brennan. Slim was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Slim was a WWII veteran, where he was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He was also employed for over 40 years at Ingersoll Machine & Tool. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10-11 am with the Funeral Service at 11 am. Spring interment will be in Ingersoll Rural Cemetery. Memorial donations in Slim’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
