Obituary for Elfriede Gertrude WILSON
WILSON, Elfriede Gertrude
Peacefully, in the presence of her best friend and her daughter Elfriede passed away at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Woodstock on October 29, 2019 in her 86th year.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband John and her step-daughter Frances. She is survived by her daughter Carol King (Bob), and step-children Jerold Wilson (Margaret), Gordon Wilson (Anne), Shirley Cox (Jim), and Marlene Verhoeven (John). She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. As well Elfriede leaves behind her friend Rosemary Domotor who was like a second daughter to her.
The family wants to thank all the staff at Caressant Care who looked after Elfriede. Her care was consistently professional, gentle, and kind. She could not have been in better hands. Thanks to them also for the many kindnesses shown to Elfriede’s daughter during the long weeks of her illness.
Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Friday, November 1, 2019 from 12-12:45 pm with the service at 1 pm. Interment to follow in Burgessville Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial donations in Elfriede’s memory to the SPCA (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
