Obituary for Edna Joy COLE (Stevens)
COLE, Edna Joy
Peacefully, at Woodstock Hospital on February 9, 2024, Edna Joy Cole passed away in her 88th year.
She was predeceased by her husband Don and her sons Rick, David, and Gary. She will be missed by her son Danny, his wife Janet and by her granddaughters Jessica and Rosalyn.
Edna will be fondly remembered by her brother Art, his wife Joyce and by many nieces and nephews.
Over the years, she enjoyed camping with her family, being a member of the Woodstock Choralaires, volunteering at Sakura House, and being involved with Taoist Tai Chi. Religion was important to Edna and she found strength and comfort in her faith. She valued the fellowship she experienced at St. James Church in Ingersoll and at the Church of the Epiphany in Woodstock.
There will be no visitation at this time. A memorial service and interment will be scheduled at a later date.
