Obituary for Alice DOYON
Doyon, Dorothy “Alice” – Passed away peacefully at Secord Trails on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife and best friend of Don Doyon for 55 years. Loving mother to Brett Horoska, Michelle (Mike) Ramier, Monique (Chad) Nichol and stepmother of Daryl Doyon, and Sherrie (Peter) Doyon-DeTema. Dear Nanny to Connor and Carter and predeceased by her step-grandson, Aaron. Survived by her sisters Grace (Niel) Bothamley and Cheryl (Gerry) Kuhwald.
She loved her family more than anything in the world and always put our needs above her own. Her caring nature spilled over to her 40+ year career as a registered nurse in Sarnia and Woodstock, ON.
Our mom was an avid animal lover and enjoyed any time spent with horses, grand dogs, and her own rescue cats. She had a creative soul and loved to design jewelry, crochet and bake, all things that she would proudly gift to us. Reading was a lifelong passion, her perfect day was getting lost in a book on the beach, soaking up the sunshine between dips in the lake. These are a few of the memories etched in our hearts that we will miss so much.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held in the spring. Donations in Alice’s memory may be made to the Humane Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to the McBEATH-DYNES FUNERAL HOME, Ingersoll, ON. Personal condolences may be sent to www.mcbeathdynes.ca
